Men's logic?
To me, that is a contradiction in terms.
Here's an example - hot off the press.
Actually it happened minutes ago and I rushed to blog it for posterity.
We had just heard that there are to be two junor world championship rugby matches broadcast on TV back to back tonight.
First the Welsh playing New Zealand (ooooh!)
Then South Africa playing England - this game starting at 10pm.
When he realised that the SA game would only end around midnight, MM lay back on the couch, yawning widely and looking pathetic . . . .
"I'm SOOOOO flippin tired!" he groaned.
Me (all concerned):
"Bokkie, if you're so tired, don't watch both games."
Him (suddenly looking relieved):
"Its ok."
"I'll watch in bed."
???????????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Huh?
Tired but determined fan! Enjoy, my darling! - life would be a lot poorer for me without these rivettingly confusing exchanges!

sorry to say...I totally get that ...Dads part I mean.
You see by watching IN BED...it infers you have already accomplished your ENTIRE bedtime routine. Teeth, jammies, tea yada yada....so you have in essence bought yourself a FREE HOUR. So you can watch tv. And then close your eyes and sleep. I TOTALLY get it.

Mel - yup, you two are kinda mentally joined at the hip so am not surprised.
But I quite enjoy that he and I see things so differently.
Keeps things interesting.
PS: We ended up BOTH watching in bed but it was so boring we BOTH went to sleep in the middle of the game :-)
