Birthdays, Zims and Dolls

It was my second grandaughter, Rachel's, 7th birthday today. Hopefully I will have a couple of epic pics to post tomorrow if her mom gets them to me in time. Hint hint, Mel. We also had a young Zimbabwean man, his wife and 5 year old child move into our flat today for a while. They were chased out of their place in Masiphumelele during the xeno-madness and do not want to risk going back. And I end on a mad note. I met an 80-something woman today at a birthday party - and in conversation I found out that she had two dolls when she was little. (Don't ask how the conversation got there - I have NO idea!) Here's the mad bit - her doll's names were: No 1: Zackamonda Coral Deflayta No 2: Serah Rina Daylight (Say them out loud - they have a ring to them.) My dolls were called: No 1: Big Doll No 2: New Doll I feel strangely dimished

Hi, My mum bought me a doll for Christmas every year that I can remember and I only ever wanted the same doll - tiny tears. So I had an impressive collection and they were all called Sarah! Now what does that say about me? LOL

Not quite sure what it says about you, Jo - except that you make me laugh and that you are an original. . .
Thank God for originals!
So glad you popped in to visit me!
