I have managed to rationalise the blogging situation: this is my new way of looking at it:
Its not impending addiction; its a way to get creative and amuse myself.
Saturday's frenzy of activity - watching rugby:
From left: JS Deon; MM's legs and my legs, with the mandatory packet of chips in easy reach of everyone.
There was SO much rugby this Saturday I was groggy by the end of it. Bleh!

Last night Faithy (4) slept over with us. She had waited for her turn for ages.
We have a lot of fun with the kids when they stay over: its not that we do anything special, but they crack us up with their ways and the stuff the say.
Actually I think MM and I have more fun than they do.
Faithy's new necessary things:
Pink milk.
Life apparently isn't worth living without it - but it has to be warm and has to have a straw.
So I needed to make a trip to the shop to remedy the unthinkable situation of a home with NO PINK MILK.
Her Make Up -
It is quite a substantial collection now and is applied with great seriousness on cheeks, eyes and lips. See pic - the orange bag is the make up kit.
And then - Cup Cakes - with pink icing.
This morning, 7am.
I am still in bed: its dark, windy, raining and cold.
Theo is downstairs, making tea for us, and warm pink milk with a straw for you-know-who.
I hear this exchange:
"Oupa I love cup cakes." "Do you love cup cakes?"
"Can we make cup cakes, Oupa?"
"Now - I want to make them now"
"With pink icing, Oupa." "PINK, Oupa, ok?"
Breakfast for her was not cup cakes but it was a pink Tinky, pink milk and whatever kids TV channel she liked -
oh yes! I did manage to get half a slice of marmaite toast into her!

Gorgeous photo of Faithy. We have had her over once and we think it is time to do it again. She is soooo cute.
