What a buzz!
And that was just for us, the watchers, helpers, commenters and 'getters-in-the-wayers'.
I can't even imagine what a rush it must have been for the matrics themselves!
For Sam and Mom, Lisa, the culmination of months of planning, arguing, shopping etc.
But let it be said - no matter how much went into the preparation, it was worth it.
Sam looked stunning when she was dressed and ready to go!
She morphed into this model-like creature that bore little resemblace to the laid back girl we know.
Judge for yourselves: Sam in blue; Dee, who did the cool driver-dude thing; and Sam's friend, Shaina, in red:
WOW!
I can't wait for their family to wake up (its 1.10pm now) - I tried phoning about 10 mins ago, but the voice on the other end was so half asleep, I hastily said I would phone again later.
To hear all the lowdown on the night.
Because it was an all nighter. . . . .
The official dance ended at twelve and then the real fun began - the famed "after-party" - this year held in Bree Street, Cape Town.
I'm hoping there will be a family get together for a good post mortem - vicarious pleasure!!
