Socially Speaking

Friday night - Supper Club.
Great company - great food . . .

Don and Lisa

This was THE best steak I have ever had!

The fillet is cut into big chunks and dangled on a skewer - the tin foil is coiled around the top of the skewer, dripping garlic butter.

For those who live in our area, the venue is Theo's (not MM) in Constantia Village. Fabulous!

Saturday:
Tri-Nations Rugby (Auz, NZ and SA) started today - with our playing NZ - our old nemesis.

The game started at 9.30am, so the clan gathered early.

We lost -
Some sad and bad reffing - but ja, they were better than us.

Sometimes we just have to admit that.

Moving on to the unusual way this family can socialise - somehow all being in one space is good enough for us - plenty of elbow room to do your own thing in the midst of that:

"Hey! Have you seen this cool 'whatever' ?"
"Check this. . . ."

Everyone has something interesting to show the others on their laptops. . . .

Even little Ella gets into the action. . .

No prizes for guessing whether Dee and Lisa were REALLY in the mood for nintendo!

Sarah - helpless giggles when she realised she had been posing for a pic while all the time I had been videoing her. . .

Some family members missing - you know who you are - we missed you all!

Wasn't it just the best weather to be watching rugby indoors? I'm not a huge rugby fan, but even *I* know that Stuart Effingickinson is *always* biased against Sefrica. NO idea why other people like the IRB don't notice it - I mean *hello* that tackle on John Smit was TOTALLY ridiculous and should have been redcarded. But then again...what do *I* know?
