Oh FLIP!!!
Does anyone else have problems with Blogger's SPACING!?
I hate all my writing to be in a boring heap - and I can rearrange it any way I like and a boring heap is what I get from Blogger.
Hey Blogger people - please, help: DO something.
I thought in computerland, what you put in was what you got out?
Not in Bloggerland obviously.
Moving on.
I have a handful of "those" friends -
the kind that I may not see for years and may seldom even have contact with -
But when they come back into my space, we just pick up where we left off.
One of these phoned me out of the blue on Monday morning.
She left for Canada when we were in our twenties and has lived there ever since.
(We were at high school together . . . before cell phones, TV in South Africa and computers! Aaaargh!)
She and her husband were here for just 2 days; so we all had dinner together that night, just picking up where we left off.
She is a tad unnerving because she just gets more glamorous and more interesting as time goes on.
Actually, she's the kind of woman that I used to hate in my teens.
Do you remember those days . . . . when any new chick came into view, all the girls in the crowd would check her out?
The more gorgeous she was, the more desperately a flaw was sought.
Maybe, hopefully, she would have bad breath; turn out bitchy; have hairy legs or warts . . .
The more flawless she was, the more likely she would be to be given a difficult time by the usual crowd -
(the girls, I mean - because she was COMPETITION!)
Or maybe the girls in our small seaside town were just more obnoxious than most.
Hey!
How did I get here?
On a completely different tack; if any of you have "over 35" anxiety syndrome; love reality tv and are not quite sure why, drop in on http://www.ramblerclive.blogspot.com - you'll see him there on my sidebar (In the Now).
If you don't LOL at his post, I'll eat my hat.

I have a prob with Blogger putting in spacing where I haven't... it's weird!
Love the Rambler Clive post, yet another blogger to add to my ever expanding blog roll LOL!
Girls judging other girls is universal!
