We live in strange times.
This morning I received one of those emails where a worthy cause is being pleaded and you add your name to a long list and forward it to as many friends as you can think of.
This was about some organisation in America that is trying to make it illegal for well known bible teachers, such as Joyce Meyer and Joel Osteen, to teach or preach on TV.
This organisation has a court hearing pending and a petition with many signatures to back their cause.
The thing I received this morning, was trying to get a million signatures to oppose their attempt.
(this thought occurred to me: surely signatures from South Africa would carry no weight in an internal USA matter like this?
Anyway - I still signed it.
Freedom of speech is very important anywhere.
And - hullooo!
You can always go to another channel if you don't like it)
What is so bizarre, is that yesterday the headlines on a local newspaper here read something about Jacob Zuma (the infamous Shower Man) saying he thought prayers should be "forced" in schools. . .
Oh MAN!
Is there anyone out there who can think logically?
Are the leaders in the world losing the plot?
Do they know that there IS a plot?

Strange times indeed....How's JZ's idea of sending teenage unmarried mothers far away from their babies to finish their education! I have to wonder who is going to foot the bill for these mothers to be accomodated "far away" and who is going to care for the babies?
You are right, very strange times!
Definitely different time. It is funny here in the States as so many oppose religion being taught in schools for forced on people in the 'Holidays' - which is fine, but they then pretend that their ideals, morals, philosophy on life is less bias? Stupid.
JZ is a nutcase. Nothing he does will surprise me.
