You're Kidding Me!

Souf Efricans have a way of saying:
'Yes' and 'no' as a way of agreeing.
As in: "Its a lovely day, hey!"
Answer:
"Ja, no its a lovely day."
Anyway -
all of this is a preamble to my reaction to Typealyzer -
They comment on what they think we bloggers are like
on the grounds of what we write in our blogs
and the way we write them.
Their conclusion on my type elicited a typically SA "yes" and "no" reaction in me.
Listen to this:
The Doers (HUH?) The active and play-ful type.
They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.
The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus.
They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through.
They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time. Now when the people who know me have picked themselves up off the floor where they have collapsed in hysterical heaps at the red sections -
Let me say this:
There are some truths here.
The "attuned to people"
and "more keen on starting something than following it through"
Yup, that's me.
But all the red zone?
HarHarHar
heeheeheeee
Two possibilities:
Either the thing is a scam
(how could they judge my blog in a nanno second?)
Or else I have created a phony persona on my blog
Hmmm. . .
Perhaps I should also change my profile pic to a blond twenty-something year old
:-)
PS: As an exercise I tested Jo and Rambler's blogs (to me they all have a similar sense of humour)
Guess what?
Ja, no - they all came out the same.
Further investigation showed that all my sidebar buddies are
"Performers": same as Mel and co.
Except:
Kevin at The Third Place!
Another "Doer"
Its you and me buddy!

I like it, Allie! For a minute there I thought it was a scam and that all blog-authors would come out as the same type ... glad you're different, even if you're not. If you see what I mean? Ja, no!!!

Mel and Em, you may be different in lots of ways but I see a similarity in your blogging.

Specially in your sense of humour.

I think I'm going to check out what it says about all the people in my sidebar

Well, to prove its a scam, I tested my blog and it came back as:
The Performers
[ESFP]
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

So, it clearly just randomly selects a response...

and, ahem, like I'm the kind of guy that fills my house with sweet smells...

Ag you are in the Yes/no mode too.

Admit it - you are an entertaining and friendly ou . . .

AND we all know how you are constantly "at risk of exhausting yourself"

For the rest, we will take your word for it that it is nothing like you ;-)
