It seems to be universal -
New Year's resolutions never work
For anyone.
Well, anyone I've ever heard of anyway.
What about a New Year's 'Hope List' then?
As in:
"This year, I hope to . . ."
Wouldn't that take the pressure off?
What would I hope to do
or change?
"Get organized"
would be my headlines.
I never thought I would still be trying for that
at my advanced stage of life!
The guy who said:
"Concentrate on your strengths, not your weaknesses."
Obviously never had to run a home.
Let's see:
Maybe make a menu for the week
and shop for it, once.
Maybe join a pilates class
Or set aside one full day a week to paint.
Invite new people to dinner at least once a month.
And learn some new recipes. . .
Well, one can always hope!
I will revisit this post later in the year to see how I'm doing.
If I remember, that is.
:-)
