We all know how bloggers relax, not so?
Me and long time best friend, Gill.
In front of a painting that her art teacher did and that I have
long coveted!
We went to a beautiful venue for lunch today while our men played golf
Then went to book for tonights dinner
at this yellow place which was severely damaged and nearly lost in recent terrible storms.
It is only the R2,000,000 worth of big rocks that they have placed around it that stop the sea from reclaiming the restaurant. But they have turned it into a wonderful place to eat, with sea on 3 sides, so the view and the vibe is truly amazing
These guys are fishing right next to the restaurant - you can see the picket fence that borders it.
A few months ago that whole area was bush - you couldn't even see the sea from the restaurant.
My friend's son helped the owners to empty the premises during the storm because they thought the sea was going to wash the whole building away, as it did their swimming pool.
But it has turned out such a bonus for them in the end - as you can see.
Then there was this little guy: he was around a lot as his grandparents were looking after him during the days temporarily.
He is 18 months old and just learning to copy words so we had some fun with him.
Ok - the signal was really poor in Plett:
I have had to tweak this and fiddle about with it for too long so I'm going to wrap up now and post some other pics later.
