Bottoms Up

Well, here's to you, alliechild, on your first birthday. Cheers! For a one year old you have sure had a lot to say - and some of it less than respectful to your elders, let it be said. In fact, you are lucky your mouth wasn't washed out with soap every now and then, the way you went off about iCamzu, Gaddaffi and Mugabe - and other matters that are really way over your head. Tut tut. But since today is your birthday, I won't major on your flaws - I will remember the fun I've had with you and that you always had a gleaming white empty ear-page to listen when I needed just that to vent upon; How you have sat there quietly and let me work things out in your space and never complained that you "felt so used!" and how I have used your space to be soooo witty that I sat and laughed out loud at how funny I am (Delusional? Maybe - but isn't that why we love our blogs?) And another thing, maybe the biggest - it has been here, with you, that I have met and become friends with a special bunch of people - some of whom I may never see but still feel I have a bond with.
