Those Days

Its one of *those* days. You know them maybe? Firstly, I have no water - have had none since yesterday afternoon. Our whole area is in the same waterless boat. *grin* Oh, by the way, and this has nothing to do with my tale . . . I phoned the official complaints number this morning to try to find out what was wrong with our water supply. One of our dear fellow citizens, female version, informed me, with stunning insight: "Eh, there's no water." I was somewhat bemused at hearing that as the answer to my question, since that was my question. As if that were not odd enough, she told me that they had no idea what the problem was but assured me that I would have water by this afternoon. Ok lady, if you say so.
Being waterless is very frustrating BUT it does have its plusses, especially on this Monday morning.
I can legitimately ignore all household chores that require the use of water. That's a lot of stuff, folks! So *Those* days, as I was saying . . . What often happens to me when I have a free day, I get so excited by the prospect of so many cool things I could do, I spent a ridiculous amont of time trying to decide which to do. Too many choices. Often, I will just resort to frittering away time on my computer. Oh wait. I am doing that. Ok, I'm putting in a HUGE effort now. Going to pull out my paints (Hopefully I can scrounge enough water out of the kettle for that) And make a masterpiece. :-)

LOL! Well I hope you are going to show us the master piece soon;-D

In the Eastern Cape the possibility of REALLY being without water soon is starting to look like a very strong possibility...they say we still have water for 3 or 4 months!
