Friend-filled

Just one of those good days .

a) My desperately sleep-deprived JD* called early to say her 22 month old son had finally allowed her to have a full night's sleep.

Bearing in mind that she had caught herself looking in the microwave for nappies and tracked her lost car keys to her pot cupboard - I guess we could say it was overdue.

b) Met SD* and eldest gorgeous Gchild in the village for brief chat in passing. Great to see them having so much fun together - like two kids!

c) Spent a rich time this morning with one of my fav people at the beach restaurant "for coffee" - which is just the SA way of saying we get together and talk furiously right up until we have to leave.

Practically dizzy with hearing each other's stuff, but charged up with whatever it is that makes friendship wonderful.

d) A power nap! Yay for a 10 min bale-out!

e) Another "meeting for coffee" session this aftenoon with my dear little sister and another great friend. Great carrot cake but. . . . .


so much chatting we barely registered what we were eating.
All girls know that one!

Ok, nearly time for DH* to arrive home from work - another high-light of my day.

Tomorrow JD and I are going to queue for our new driver's licence's.
