Granny Allie for President?

This is Faithy as we have known and loved her - outgoing, bubbly and with a tousled mop of glorious red curls.

But Faithy has a new passion.
She wants straight hair like admired big sister, Rach and adored mom, Mel.
She spends hours patiently brushing her hair to try to get it straight - (those who know her will realise what a miracle THIS is - normally you can't get NEAR her with a brush!)

Last night was transformation night for her, thanks to my new flat irons.

Check the new Faithy:

Don't shoot me, people - I also love her curls!

I hope she gets over the straight hair thing super fast now she knows she can have it.

Otherwise, I guess I will have a standing date with her every time its hair washing day!

And Mel will be less than stoked!

We are never happy with what we have. I can SO relate to Faith. Hated my curls until my late 20's then realised that it was actually easier than spending hours and hours blowdrying my hair. :)

Yep, we never want what we have. Maybe after a while she will embrace those beautiful curls =)

Straight seems to be in, huh? Unfortunately sometimes.
