OPEN ARMED

This observation made by SS to the church this morning really grabbed me:

"An earthly judge acquitting us because someone else has paid our penalty, says:

"You are free to go." (back to your normal life.)

God, our heavenly Judge, when He acquits us on the grounds of Jesus having paid the penalty for us at the cross, says:

"You are free to come." "(to Me)

It brought to me anew the open-armed stance of our Father.
