a) Are working your buns off at work
b) Are drowning in a sea of confined small children
c) Have stax of housework to get through and little time to do it
d) Or are running against the clock for whatever reason.
I don't want you to hate me.
(People-pleasing tendencies plague me)
My plans for this morning fell through
Even plan b, c and d.
All involving friend time (I have such a tough life. Sigh)
So I am at suuuuuccch a loose end -
*My househelp is here so I don't even have to housework to do.
*I have checked my email (don't even ASK how many times!);
*have written some
*have made comments on FB and blogs;
*even applied nailpolish (which I haven't done in years);
*made sundry cups of coffee (bear in mind, I get up at 5.30am to sort out DH's sandwiches and brekky (buffs halo);
*stared hopefully at my alliechilling screen waiting for inspiration
(nothing);
*ditto for sonsearcher
(nothing)
Here's a question:
Without cyber-friend or friend-friend interaction, do I exist?
Today, wondering from room to room, staring out of rain streaked windows, the answer feels no-ish.
But wait!
I have a coffee and pancake date at 2
Then I will exist again

Today I am drowning in work...so all I can say is HELP!!!!
Opposite extremes, my friend.
And we both probably imagine we'd rather have the other's situation :-)
sounds like my day... :) i can't drink another cuppa, but wait, i will. Caio. Lis.
What's that saying about walking a mile...
Even though it sounds awfully tempting me thinks your shoes won't fit
FOr starters, you had a lot more children than I think I could ever handle (which is just one)...
Ciao4Now
Huh???
And even with all this time on your idle hands you *couldn't* find the time to do yet another meme?
I'm hurt.
Truly hurt (i did mine a while ago when i was bored and saved it for a rainy day when I didn't feel like posting).
yummy pancakes.
and yes you do exist. i think of you often so even if only in my mind!
Ohhh you guys are SO funny!
I nearly plutzed myself over your coffee comment, Lis.
Raising 4 children is but a distant memory now, FJ
I can't rest on those laurels any longer.
Much as I'd like to. *g*
Shayne don't you know that when you do nothing for a while, everything looks like too much work?
You don't?
Well, s'true.
And I quite like the scenery here in the mind of Shayne. Thanks. *Mwah*
nnKay?
ok i forgive.
purely because "doing nothing" is something i rarely do ;)
*she says after instructing her domestic to please peel veges for dinner*
Tee hee (Shayne)
And - OMIGOSH - I HAVE LOST MY SIDEBAR SEEMINGLY FOREVER.
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT FORMAT I CHOOSE, IT PUTS MY SIDEBAR STUFF RIGHT BELOW THE LAST POST.
HEELLP!
SOMEBODY, HELP!
COMES OF MESSING WITH WHAT AIN'T BROKE
I actually survived my day...how was the pancakes? My favourite is banana and caramel pancakes...yum!
First, thanks to Mel who came to my aid re the sidebar issue.
You're a star Mel!
I was thinking I might have to go to extremes, like calling in Ness, the techno expert. :-)
Lynette, the pancakes didn't happen either - but the interaction did.
Which was the important part.
Glad you survived your hard day.
