I Need Help

We are visiting Malta soon - around Christmas actually
It looks so beautiful, so historically rich, so quaint -
I can't wait!
If any of you have been there, I would love to hear about it from you.
You know, the kind of stuff you wish you'd known before you went. .

Well sorry for you, that is not a bad problem to have LOL. I believe it is very beautiful and it is where those terrible fluffy white dogs originated.

I have been no-where except Dubai...that is going to change soon!

There is a travel expo on at the CTICC this week end, I'm sure you will find Malta news there.

Ian and I are going to find a holiday destination - its too overwhelming sorting through all the options, I am excited to have everything on one place, all the options visible and discussable! CTICC here we come...

This looks like a magic destination. Tell us more?

I'm so not a blogger said...

my dad used to live there! All I can remember from conversations is that the traffic is terrible (as the roads are tiny) and its best to walk places.

Will let you know when we get back - all sorts of interesting stuff about possible EU citizenship (dual) through Malta.
Possibility of buying a small property there. . .
Stuff like that.
Very exciting.

And ISNB - that is a VERY useful tip. Thanks!

Hi Allie (KJ-S mum) we've been to Malta, remember its going to be cold/chilly. We stayed in the centre - city. 365 catherdrals and churches on Malta! There is SO much to see. You tire very quickly with all the churches but they are a must see.The artwork in the Cathedrals is awesome. Malta is shabby and old and rundown, its crazy, its 'old/ modern'....use the yellow buses (left over from the war) the only way to get around.

Hi KJ's mum - thanks for your input.
Yes I hear that Dec is their rainy month - DH feels he wants to get away regardless of the weather though.
I love the "old city" vibe so thats good news to me
Thanks for the tip about the buses - very useful.
