Nearness

Some of our blogbuddies are going through very deep waters at the moment: waters of anxiety; waters of grief and bewilderment; waters of emotional turmoil.
It is hard to find words to say to people you care for at times like these.
But I have found that God often soothes our troubled souls through His glorious creation.
Just sitting quietly in the tranquillity of a summer evening, we can sense His nearness; His deep compassion; His sovereignty.
May you who are struggling now, sense His close Presence during this season of your lives.

For those of us who have a relationship with Jesus Christ, we can cast all our troubles on Him. He tells us that He will never leave us or forsake us. It's never easy going through stormy weather, but He can and will help you get through.
It's unfortunate, but we still live in a fallen world. Sad but true!
