Heard on the radio on the way home from gym today . . .
Talking about something going on in the magistrates courts -
I quote:
". . . the courts are there to dispense with justice."
Moments later this report:
A baby had died in an unregistered creche somewhere in the northern suburbs.
After a post mortem, the powers-that-be had decided that "the baby died of natural causes"
The one made me weep with laughter: somewhat cynical laughter.
The other just made me weep - that anyone could say a baby dies of natural causes.
The only natural cause I know of is old age.
