Too Huge

There is mayhem in the Middle East, misery in New Zealand and much of this world is in a mess.

I should be concerned about it.
I AM concerned about it
Really.

But its all too big for me; too global.
It overpowers me with the sense of  'What can I possibly do about that?!"

So I retreat into smaller issues
Like this:
I really really really want to write about the stuff that's going on in my life.
The real stuff.
To process *on paper* so to speak, my heart issues.
But I can't do it here.
I'd love to but
The people in my life are too known to many of you
Besides some of them read mine
And much of my journey is laced together with theirs.
Not wanting to freak them out (or shatter their illusions about me!) -

I realise I need to set up another, anonymous blog.
Going where no one knows my name, so to speak.
(This will test whether I write for me, or whether I've been fooling myself and am really writing for you)

The difficulties of trying to set up another blog which will not be listed with Allie Chilling is frying my brain.
Gmail is an option but the last time I tried that, gmail just swallowed up everything so I couldn't even access my blog :-(
I eventually just cancelled the whole thing.

Hmm, what to do?

persevere with gmail.

use a completely arb name (but right it down somewhere) and you'll be completely anonymous.

that's what i do :)

be careful they link together all the time that why I had to start with a new name completely and why I often cant comment on a blog because I am signed in with another name a bit of a nightmare but worth it. I have even taken the weather off my blog because I 'found' myself by googling and the weather spotted me in my home town x

You could set up an anonymous Wordpress blog (at wordpress.com)it's free and doesn't use gmail - so no threat of exposure :)

I agree with Ness. Wordpress is your best option here.
