We sang a new song in our church's meeting today
The words seemed to stand out in bold to me -
As if to say -
"Listen.
This is for you.
This is for your family."
There is strength within the sorrow
There is beauty in our tears
You meet us in our mourning
With a love that casts out fear
You are working in our waiting
Sanctifying us
When, beyond our understanding,
You're teaching us to trust.
Your plans are still to prosper
You have not forgotten us
You're with us in the fire and the flood
Faithful forever, perfect in love
You are sovereign over us. . . *
Every so often there are these little gems on this hard thorny road we are walking
A kind hand directs our attention to them.
Sometimes we see them through tears
But they comfort and encourage us.
* Sovereign Over Us

Such comforting lyrics! You and the family are in my thoughts Allie xx
Thank you Gill
Yes they are - there are many other songs that have wonderful words too but you know how sometimes words just "pierce" you?
This was that.

I have this Michael W Smith cd on repeat in my car. You and your family are never far from my thoughts and always in my prayers.
